Mikayla’s Easter party at her preschool was today. I was in charge of putting it together and had a lot of fun doing it. I put together little treat buckets to send home with the children. I filled them with a pencil, bubbles, Play-dough and these chocolate suckers. This was my first attempt and candy-making and I think they turned out pretty cute!
I had other very creative moms helping out with this party. One mom made these very cute “chick” cupcakes. Another one made the strawberry mice. I think this was definitely the most creative food party we have had.
Mikayla had a great time at the party. After the kids ate, they had an egg hunt in the classroom. We were going to have it outside, but unfortunately it was raining. Thankfully, the kids didn’t have a crazy, egg, free-for-all. We had the parents right all of the children’s names on the eggs prior to sending them in, so instead of each kid trying to get as many eggs as possible, they spent the time looking for eggs with their names on it.
It was a great morning spent with my little girl!
